verify_account

Run an AVS/CVC account verification on a card without charging it. Returns the verification outcome and a card-on-file or one-time verification record. merchant.entity is injected automatically.

authorize_payment

Authorize a card payment. Returns an outcome plus HATEOAS action links (settle, cancel, refund, reverse). Extract the linkData from those links and pass it to capture_payment / cancel_payment / refund_payment / reverse_payment.

capture_payment

Capture (settle) an authorized payment. Omit amount for a full settlement; pass amount+currency for a partial settlement. Pass linkData from the authorization's action link (_links.payments:settle.href segment) for HATEOAS-correct routing.

cancel_payment

Void an authorization that has not yet been captured. Pass linkData from _links.payments:cancel.href.

refund_payment

Refund a captured payment. Omit amount for a full refund; pass amount+currency for a partial refund. Pass linkData from _links.payments:refund.href or _links.payments:partialRefund.href.

reverse_payment

Reverse a payment atomically — voids if not yet captured, refunds if already captured. Pass linkData from _links.payments:reverse.href.

get_payment

Retrieve the detail of a payment event by its Worldpay eventId.

create_token

Tokenize a card for reuse (card-on-file). Returns a token you can pass as the paymentInstrument on subsequent authorizations.

get_token

Retrieve a stored card token's metadata (bin, scheme, last4, cardHolderName, expiryDate, etc.). Does not return the raw PAN.

update_token

Update metadata on a stored card token (e.g. expiryDate after an account-updater refresh, cardHolderName, description).

delete_token

Delete a stored card token.

query_payment

Look up a payment by the merchant-side transactionReference you assigned on authorize_payment. Returns the matching payment event(s).

Names and descriptions come from the package's tools/list (@codespar/mcp-worldpay@0.2.0-alpha.3). A kind (read, write, delete) is shown only when the package annotates its tools or each tool was verified one by one; neither exists for this server yet.

Compatibility

MCP is a protocol. Any client that speaks it can mount this server.

Worldpay uses API Key. Self-hosted, you hold the credentials: the server reads them from its environment variables.

Every server is versioned independently on npm. The command on this page pins 0.2.0-alpha.3, the version whose tools are listed here; your agent keeps running it until you change the version.

Is Worldpay open source? How do I report a bug?

Yes. Worldpay is MIT-licensed and published on npm as @codespar/mcp-worldpay, source on GitHub (link in the Details panel). Report issues on the package repository; security issues go to security@codespar.dev, and we respond within 24 hours.
